He Should’ve Charged Admission

There’s a bear in downtown Jasper that’s caused quite a buzz since eloping up a tree last night. He (or she) was still hanging out for picture opportunities mid-afternoon today. A large crowd filtered in and out of the area which likely kept the bear seated on his perch rather than making a retreat to a wooded area. The 300-pounder looked pretty comfortable on his high chair atop a tree at the corner of Holly and Main streets.
