Pickens Library guests have a Ghoulishly Good Time at Halloween Party

Lots of strange and unusual characters were reported hanging around the Pickens County Library last evening so FYN dropped by to see what all the fuss was about.It turns out it was a costume party and there WERE some pretty cool personalities in attendance. From ninjas to birthday cakes, the ideas ran the gamut of costume kookiness.

The party was developed by the Library’s Teen Advisory Board who invented all aspects of the party. There were games such as Bingo and a Spider Toss, candy and baked treats, costume contests and music, all stemming from the minds of the girls. About 50 people attended.

FYN would like to congratulate the Teen Advisory Board on a job well-done and thank them for being community-minded and contributing to the enrichment of the younger children.
