Today, we honor the brave men and women, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors, who have courageously served this country in the American military.

From the shores of Normandy to the hills of Afghanistan, these American heroes risked life and limb to protect our homeland and preserve our way of life. Because of their service, we live in a country where freedom and opportunity prevails. Thanks to their willingness to answer the call of duty, America remains a “shining City on a Hill.”
On behalf of the Georgia Republican Party, we say “thanks” to our veterans from every generation who have fought so that our flag and our freedoms would endure. We are eternally grateful for your service and hope to always live in a way that is worthy of your sacrifice.
