Mrs. Mary H. Wood, age 81 of Jasper, passed away at her residence on Saturday December 28, 2013.She is survived by her husband; Thomas D. Wood, sons & daughters-in-law; Michael D. & Missy Wood, Timothy J. & Lisa Wood, daughters & son-in-law; Gayle Hurley, Wanda & Perry Scott, sister-in-law; Patricia Tatum, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3pm until 9pm, Monday from 8am until 9pm and again on Tuesday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Tuesday at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kauffman & Brother Eric Wood officiating. The interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery located in Cherokee County.
