Pickens County seeing storm damage

Sheriff Donnie Craig has notified FYN that the hazardous weather passing through northern Georgia is creating some problems in Pickens County.There is a tree down on Mineral Springs Road near Salem Church Road.

Thompson Lane near Highway 53 West is flooded and impassable.

Slight flooding reported Mineral Springs near Camp Road and Old Burnt Mountain Road at Highway 136.

Please use caution in these areas and choose an alternate route of travel if possible. Also, be aware of changing conditions and plan accordingly. Stay with FYN for updates.
