GA DOT Continues Work in Pickens County

As part of its integrated roadside vegetation management program, Georgia DOT Maintenance crews will continue their work on trimming overgrown vegetation along State Route 136 in Pickens and Gilmer County. Work will proceed daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday, January 27 through Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weather permitting. In addition Georgia DOT Maintenance crews will resume their work on sealing the cracks on the surface of the roadway of SR 53 on Monday, January 27 through Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
