Andrew Steve Chance : Obituary

Andrew Steve Chance, age 14, of Talking Rock, Georgia, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born January 5, 2000 in Griffin, Georgia, Andrew was preceded in death by Richelle Chance Hulgan. Andrew was an 8th Grade student at the Joy House in Jasper and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jasper.

Survivors include HIS PARENTS, Steve and Barbara Chance of Talking Rock, Ga.; SISTER, Jessica Chance of Talking Rock, Ga.; BROTHERS, Eddie Chance of Talking Rock, Ga.; and Marcus Chance of Montgomery, Ala.; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, three Nieces and 2 Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2014, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Ben Mock, Rev. Tony Rameriz and Steve Lowe will officiate, with the interment to follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Andrew Chance Memorial Fund, c/o Roper Funeral Home, 206 Holley St., Jasper, Georgia 30143.
