Ms. Frances Huffman, age 78 of Jasper, GA died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her residence. Frances was born October 20, 1935 in Pickens County to Cicero and Clara Hammontree. She retired from Coca-Cola where she worked as an accountant for 25 years.
She is survived by her son, Richard Satterfield, Jasper, sisters & brothers-in-law, Marie & Bruce Pratt, Jasper, Hilda & Ted Sheets, Marietta, brothers & sisters-in-law, Curtis & Grace Hammontree, Jasper, Charles & Joyce Hammontree, Jasper, grandchildren, Misty Reece, Ellijay, Maegan Elliott, Newnan, Lauren Higgins, Grantville, James Satterfield, Kennesaw, great-grandchildren, Lili Reece, Ansley Elliott, Addison Elliott,& Bailey Higgins, several nieces nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her son, David Satterfield.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Darnell & Rev. Steve Wigington officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawson County.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
