Martha Edge Pool : Obituary

Mrs. Martha Edge Pool age 88 of Jasper passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 at the Grandview Health Care Center. For many years Mrs. Pool was the Editor of the Pickens Progress. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Pool.

She is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-law, John R. & Shirley Pool, William E. and Martha Pool, and Dan & Christie Pool, all of Jasper, Grandchildren, John A. Pool, Adam Pool, Madeline Pool, and Ellie Pool, Sister, Bobbie Edge, Jasper.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Saturday March 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Max Caylor officiating. The interment will follow in the Jasper City Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 6-9 PM Friday evening. The family will accept flowers or those who desire can make memorial contributions to Friendship Baptist Church c/o Andrea Johnson 155 Magnolia Station, Jasper, Ga. 30143, the Burnt Mountain Center P. O. Box 337 Jasper, Ga. , or to the charity of your choice.
