Nelson Council Members Resign

In an email sent late this afternoon, Nelson City Manager Brandy Edwards advised council members Duane Cronic and Johnathan Bishop both resigned, effective March 28.Although no discussion came up in the city’s work session tonight, both Edwards and Mayor Larry Ray stated they anticipate the November election will be when they will try to fill those seats.

With three council members remaining the city still has a quorum by which the city may conduct business.
