Phil Stanley Jordan, age 61, of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, at the Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, following a period of declining health. Born December 18, 1952 in Jasper, Georgia, he was the son of the late Hubert Lee Jordan and Ruby Lee Cavender Jordan. Mr. Jordan was a self-employed painter prior to his medical condition and his hobbies included fishing and hunting.
Survivors include, HIS WIFE OF 42 YEARS, Rhonda Jordan of Ball Ground, Ga.; DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW, Tammy and Cale Davis of Jasper, Ga.; SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, Phil Stanley Jordan, II (Angie) of Ellijay, Ga.; Justin Jordan (Melissa Martin) of Ball Ground, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Brannon McCoy, Logan Jordan, Brittany Jordan, Avery Davis, Dylan Davis, Taylor Davis, Mason Jordan, McKenzie Martin and Brett Smith; SISTER, Doris Mooney of Ellijay, Ga.; BROTHER & SISTER-IN-LAW, Clifton and Joyce Jordan of Ball Ground Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2014, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Wayne Long will officiate, with the interment to follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Ball Ground.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, all day on Sunday and until the funeral hour on Monday.
