Bark in the Park Fundraiser Event Held

Last Saturday, April 26th the American Cancer Society Bark for Life Event was held in Jasper at Lee Newton Park. It was a fun filled day starting with a one mile walk and continued with music, a demonstration from the PCSO canine officer Blake McFarland and his dog Bleckey. There were vendors associated with pets, doggie contests, raffles, food, bouncy houses and more.

Bark for Life honors the care giving qualities of canine companions. It was a non-competitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
