Mr. Curtis W. Lovett, age 88 of Jasper, passed away at his residence on Thursday May 22, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Melita Lovett, son and daughter-in-law; Jonathan & Dori Lovett, daughter-in-law: Donna Lovett, brother and sister-in-law; (Johnny) Warren Patrick Jr. & Audrey Lovett, sisters and brothers-in-law; Doris Carr, Elneta & Ed Luckner, Christine & Harold Hansen, granddaughters; Christina Lynn Graves, Lydia Lingerfelt, Stephanie Lovett and Elle Lovett. Mr. Lovett was preceded in death by his son; Keith Lovett, daughter; Laurie Lovett, brother; Mose Lovett and sisters; Isabelle Chavez & Nellie Longo. The family will accept flowers or donations to Jasper Church of God.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6pm until 9pm and again on Sunday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm on Sunday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Dr. Karen Carr and Rev. J.T. Willoughby officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
