Mr. Ernest “Edwin” Rundles age 78 of Gainesville, GA died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Edwin was born January 23, 1936 in Hall County to the late Ernest and Carrie Rundles. He served his Country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was the owner and operator of the Round House Restaurant and Rundles Construction.
Survivors include his daughters; Debbie Rundles Pittman, of Gainesville, Nicole Rundles, of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law; Eddie and Sherry Rundles, of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law; Johnny and Ina Rundles, of Gainesville, special great-niece; Erin Gravitt, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00am Monday at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Williamson officiating. Entombment will follow at 1:00pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
The Family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
