Mr. Robert “Ralph” Stanfield age 87 of Tate, GA died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Cartersville Heights Nursing Home in Cartersville, GA. Ralph was born November 25, 1926 in Pickens County to the late Joe Mack Stanfield and Grace Boyd Stanfield. He worked for Galaxy Food Store in Canton and was a member of Free Hope Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Stanfield.
Survivors include his Daughter and Son-in-law; Debbie and Gary Collier, of Cartersville, Grandson and Granddaughter-in-law; Michael and Julie Collier, of Cassville, Great-Grandson; Will Thomas Collier, of Cassville, Brother and Sister-in-law; Dean and Frances Stanfield, of Canton, Nephew; Matthew Stanfield, of Canton, Niece; Sandra Stanfield, of Canton, and several friends also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00am Thursday at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday until the funeral hour.
