Roper Funeral Home & Crematory of Jasper announces the death of Mr. Ricky Roper age 58 of Marble Hill who passed away Sunday morning at his home. He was the owner of Roper Food and Beverage and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ralph Roper.
He is survived by his Wife, Maxine Keener Roper, Mother, Walterine Cavender Roper, Son & Daughter-in-law; Kevin & Leslie Roper, Daughter & Son-in-law, Trina & Brent Chastain, Grandchildren, William & Thomas Roper and Trey Edge, Brother & Sister-in-law; Jimmy & Olene Roper, Nephews, Steven and Brian Roper and his four legged best friend “Buddy”.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday June 18, 2014 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Weaver, Rev. Russell Burt, and Rev. Ricky Jarrett officiating. The interment will follow in the Lake Forest Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday from 9:00am to 9:00pm, and on Wednesday from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
