Dorothy Marie Griffin : Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Griffin age 79 of Talking Rock, GA died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital in Marietta, GA. Dorothy was born January 18, 1935 in Cherokee County to the late Waldo and Maude Anderson.
She is survived by her Daughters and Sons-in-law; June and Jackie Kitts, of Knoxville, Tn., Susie and Mike Arrendale, of Hinton, Cathy and Calvin Pierce, of Ellijay, Tammy and Rickey Jarrett, of Tate, and Angie Morris, of Hinton, Brother; C.W. Anderson, of Ball Ground, and Anthony Anderson, of Kennesaw, Grandchildren; Jay Kitts, of Raleigh, Rebekah Page, of Knoxville, Chelli Youngblood, of Hinton, Jessica DeLong, of Plainville, Joshua Jarrett, of Jasper, and Amanda Romero, of Hinton, 8 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00pm Friday at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Jess Posey officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, Thursday from 9:00am to 9:00pm and on Friday from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
