Mr. Raymond Ward, age 68 of Jasper, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital on Saturday June 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife; Margaret Ward, sons & daughter-in-law; Billy Spence, Jamie & Brittany Ward, daughters & son-in-law; Kimberly & Leo Shirley, Angela Piatt, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday July 1st from 5pm till 8pm and again on Wednesday from 8am until prior to the graveside hour.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30pm Wednesday July 2nd at Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County with Rev. Steve Fallin officiating. The Family will accept flowers but would prefer donations to help with the funeral expenses.
