Mr. Ernest “Pap” Howard age 87 of Jasper passed away at his home Tuesday morning.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Howard, and grandson, Terry Lacy.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty McBee of Jasper; grandchildren, Tabatha McBee and Vickie McBee both of Jasper; great grandchildren, Sierra Lacy and Hunter Lacy both of Jasper; brothers, Clifford “Crook” Howard of Jasper, Billy Howard of Jasper, Fay Howard of Tate, George Howard of Nelson, Ben Howard of Dawsonville; sisters, JoAnn Hayes of Jasper, Jenny Howard of Jasper and Lois Howard of Canton; and dear friends, Keith “Lightbill” Johnson and Shelty Moss.
The Funeral Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Silvers officiating. The interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper.
The family will be receiving friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 and Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Roper Funeral Home.
