Mrs. Rachel Goss Bruce, age 77 of Canton, passed away at Woodstock Nursing and Rehabilitation on Tuesday July 22, 2014.She is survived by her son; Steve Bruce, daughter & son-in-law; Sandra & Sonny Padgett, grandchildren; Jeremiah Bruce, Elijah Bruce, Judson Bruce, Chris Siniard, Kasey & Jason Sams, Matt & Hesper Padgett and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her husband; Eulan Bruce & her sister; Virginia Butterworth.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday July 23rd from 2pm until 9pm and again on Thursday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Thursday at Long Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Childers officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
