Thanks to you and to many other community partners, the Pickens County Health Department’s Back-to-School Bash Health Clinic was a wonderful success! We would ask that you please share with the public the following statement from the health department’s interim nurse manager:
“Many thanks to our local media for notifying residents of the Pickens County Health Department’s Back-to-School Bash Health Clinic held on Tuesday. The clinic was a great success as we immunized and screened over 70 children to help prepare them for the new school year! We also wish to give a big thanks to those who volunteered or donated to the clinic, including the local Piggly Wiggly, Ingles, Kroger, Save-A-Lot, Jasper Drugs & Gifts Store, Great Clips Hair Cut Salon, BoJangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits, Amerigroup, North Georgia WIC, Murray County Health Department and Pickens County’s EMS, EMA and Fire Department. We appreciate your support!”
