Daily Prayer: 09/30/2014

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months, it did not rain on the earth. The he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.” James 5:16-18.Our Father in Heaven, you do hear the prayers of your righteous people and delight in them. They are like a sweet savor rising to your throne of grace. May the prayers of your church affect our nation and bring about a spiritual awakening for without this our land will continue to corrupt.

Remind us just how much you have decided to work in response to our prayers. We know from scripture that prayer power avails much. Hear the prayers of this person who is before you and use this one for your glory to make a change in someone’s life. We pray in the name of Christ, our Lord.
