Daily Prayer: 10/10/14

“The nations have sunk in the pit that they made; in the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught. The Lord has made himself known; he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands.” Psalm 9:15-16.Although this was written almost 3,000 years ago, it is the same today, O Lord. Man’s nature has not been changed except through redemption. In a world where so many are not believers the economy is controlled in large part by them.

In our day, we have seen the greed of Wall Street and the ineptness of governments. They dug pits in which they have sunk the economies of many nations. Judgment waits them.

We pray for economic recovery in world currencies so that earth’s peoples can regain their stability. Bless those who are going through stressful situations. Grant them your bountiful provisions in Christ.
