Mrs. Edith Arwood, age 80 of Carnesville and formerly of Cherokee County, passed away Saturday evening at Athens Regional Hospital. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Craig & Georgie Darby of Commerce, daughters and son-in-law; Elaine Garrett of Jasper, Linda & Philip Hightower of Ludville community, brother and sister-in-law; Jerry & Stella Pritchett of Canton, sister and brother-in-law; Dorothy & Bill Granberry of Ellijay, 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 3rd from 3:30 pm until 10 pm, Tuesday from 8 am until 10 pm and again on Wednesday from 8 am until prior to the funeral hour.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Eulogy given by family members. The interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
