Our heavenly Father, you always deal lovingly with your children. There are times when we need to be corrected. Your chastisement is good for us even though we do not always understand it.
Our lives are so prone to waywardness and wandering away from you. May we learn to trust in you with all our hearts and acknowledge you in all our ways.
Dear Father, you know of the proneness of this person who seeks you just now. May, through fellowship with you, this person stay on the straight and narrow way today. Grant peace in our world. Bless our military overseas with the knowledge that you are with them through Christ our Lord.
