The Upcoming Georgia General Assembly Brings Questions

…And hopefully, the right answers! Another historic Georgia General Assembly is in the making, as our Senators and Representatives continue their preparations for the next session. Our District Representative, Rick Jasperse,

will speak at our next Pickens County GA Tea Party meeting, bringing us up to date on what may be on the plate for the General Assembly to consider. Issues, such as Common Core, refugees and immigration, healthcare and regionalism continue to be hot topics for possible action in the Assembly.

At our November meeting, we will also welcome Tanya Ditty, Georgia State Director of Concerned Women of America, who will tell us about what CWA is working on, in cooperation with several Assemblymen in the way of proposed bills concerning Common Core, AP History, and Religious Liberty.
