Tommy King, age 65, of Jasper passed away early Tuesday morning, November 18, 2014, at his home.Tommy was Past Master of Blaine Lodge #534.
He was preceded in death by son, Andy King.
He is survived by his wife, Linda King of Jasper; daughters and son-in-law, Jamie Jones of Jasper, Holly and Palmer Sanford of Smyrna; grandsons, Jackson Jones of Jasper, Shelt Sanford of Smyrna; granddaughter, Lily Sanford of Smyrna; mother-in-law, Cleo McDaniel of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara King of Jasper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Vicki Thompson of Ellijay, James and Flondell Thompson of Jasper, and Patsy Davenport of Ellijay. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend James Thompson and Dr. Shelton Sanford officiating. Interment will follow at Whitestone Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Gravesite Rites by Blaine Lodge #534.
The family will be accepting friends Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 20, 2014 until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Whitestone Baptist Church.
