The Pickens High School Dragons football team completed the 2014 season with an 8-3 season and the second home playoff game in school history. Each week during the season Team FYN Sports rewarded a player with recognition as the Super Star Swag Player of the week. The final award goes to the break out player of the year.This year’s PHS Team FYN Sports Superstar Swag Breakout Player of the Year is offensive lineman Tyler Austin. Austin helped paved the way for a multiple record breaking season from the PHS offense. The Dragons set records for points in a season (404); total offensive yards (4762); and Shannon Brooks set the school’s single season rushing record (2223 yards ) and rushing touchdown record 33. Congratulations to Tyler.
