Youth Leadership Pickens Attends Session at Pickens County Jail

The participants of Youth Leadership Pickens, a program of the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce recently had the opportunity to attend a session at the Pickens County Jail. Sheriff Donnie Craig and several deputies shared how the jail operates, answered numerous questions from the youth and gave the participants an opportunity to tour the facility. The youth also heard testimony from a current inmate of the daily life at the jail. The Youth Leadership participants would like to thank Sheriff Craig and the deputies for the opportunity allowing them to learn about their local police force as well as sponsoring their dinner the night of the event.
