Mr. Jerry Mayfield, age 67 of Dawsonville, passed away at Sonshine Manor Personal Care Home on Thursday January 1, 2015. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law; Joey & Michele Walden of Jasper, Benjie Mayfield of Marble Hill, daughter; Stacey Lathem of Pikeville, Tn., brothers; Jackie Mayfield of Jasper, J.I. Mayfield of Jasper, J.L. Mayfield of Jasper, John Mayfield of Ball Ground, sisters; Mary Jane Garrett of Hickory Flatt, Ruth Johnson of Marble Hill, Lois Hulsey of Jasper, Lisa McCoy of Ellijay, 2 grandchildren; Chelsea Walden & Laticia Lathem, 2 great-grandchildren; Tarryn Lathem & Jontae Sharp.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday January 2, 2015 from 5:30pm till 10:00pm, on Saturday from 8:00am till 10:00pm and again on Sunday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Sunday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Greg Bryant & Scott Lawson officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
