Daily Prayer: January 6, 2015

“Vengeance is mine; I will repay saith the Lord.”
Romans 12:19O God of perfect love, teach us to love those who do wrong against us. If there is a need for vengeance, may we place the matter in your hands for we know that you will deal with it.

If our enemy hungers, help us to feed him. If he is thirsty, help us to give him drink. Such will heap coals of fire on his head and he cannot continue in his offense. Give us all of the spiritual grace necessary to be not overcome with evil, but to overcome evil with good in the name of Christ.
