Fire In Jasper On Main Street

Authorities were quick to respond when a truck caught fire on south main street in Jasper. The fire caused quite a bit of damage to the vehicle as it spread quickly.
The fire department was able to extinguish without the fire spreading beyond the truck. Although the fire burned the front amd interior of the truck no one was injured.

FYN spoke with the owner of the truck that told us, “I had just picked up the truck from being repaired. I turned the heat on and smoke started coming out.”
The repair is believed to be unrelated to the fire.
