The Pickens High School Dragons wrestling team traveled to Ridgeland High School to take part in the Area Traditional Tournament. Five wrestlers placed, with three wrestlers qualifying for the Sectionals Tournament for a chance to compete in the State Tournament. Koby Milner won the 106 weight class, and Josh Massey and John Holbert both place fourth at 170 and 195 respectively. Try Lund (220) and Elliot Gallagher (285) placed fifth and sixth respectively. The top four place winners from each weight class move on to Sectionals.Afterward head coach, Grady Flanagan, spoke about his team’s showing in the tournament.
