FYN Visits Tate Elementary For 3rd Grade Writing Challenge

Tate Elementary School participated in the FetchYourNews 3rd grade writing challenge. The proud winners for the writing challenge were Skylar Weaver and Trey Payne.
These children received prizes from local sponsors and the entire class was provided plenty of pencils and a Wendy’s, jr frosty each for their participation. The question for this round of competitions was, “How to Pick Someone to Marry.” The children were excited and it was clear that many had put a lot of time and effort into their essays. FYN’s was impressed with them all! CEO, Brian K. Pritchard spoke to the children regarding reading, writing and the importance of internet safety.

Special thanks go to the children for their hard work and their lead teacher, Ms. Lisa Barnett along with the administrators and the entire third grade teaching team. They do a wonderful job with those kids!
