As you know a Winter Weather Warning has been issued for Pickens County beginning at 07:00am this morning.
Commission Chair Rob Jones has closed County Offices for all non-essential personnel.
We are still uncertain of how road conditions will work out for us. We are fairly confident that some form of precipitation will enter the County sometime around 10:00 or 11:00 this morning probably in the form of freezing rain in some areas making road ways in those areas dangerous.
Emergency crews from all Departments are ready to respond as needed. An information line has been established in the EOC for any non-emergency questions or information. For Emergency assistance please call 911.
