Mrs. Julia J. Jordan, age 101 from Texas City, Tx. and formerly from Elberton, Ga. passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2015.
She is survived by her son, Fred “Gene” Jordan and wife, Janet of Texas City; brother, Lloyd Jones ans wife, Jean of Jasper, GA; sister-in-law, Helen Jones of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Lynn Willingham and husband Kelly, of Atlanta, GA; Julie Miller and husband, Keith, Kathy White and husband, Stanley, Lori Zacherl and husband, Todd, all of Santa Fe, Tx; 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday February 26, 2015 from 1pm until the funeral servive hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm on Thursday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Meritt officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Carrie B. (Reeves) Jones; husband, Fred Jordan; son, William Jordan; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
