Mrs. Margery Eaton Wheeler, age 95, of Jasper passed away early Thursday morning, March 12, 2015, at her home.She was born on June 10, 1919 to the late Wesley and Rachel Eaton in Tate, Georgia. She married the late David Lee Wheeler.
Mrs. Wheeler is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James Lee and Brenda Wheeler of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Lamar Jordan of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Rachel Nichols of Jasper, Sam Wheeler of Talking Rock, Stacie McDonald of Ball Ground, Rhoda Gunnigle of Alpharetta, Karen Coltrane of Talking Rock; and nine great-grandchildren. Other family members also survive.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Reverend Grant Wade officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday; 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday; and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Roper Funeral Home.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church.
