Mrs. Margaret Gennell Czaplinski, age 89, of Jasper passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.Margaret was born to R. N. and Reverlee Campbell on November 29, 1925 in Arcadia, SC.
She is survived by husband, Edward “Eddie” Czaplinski of Jasper, daughters, Carolynda Smith of Stone Mountain and Mellnee Gennell Tanner of Jasper; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Czaplinski in death is her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Campbell; son, Billy Czaplinski; grandson, Danny Czaplinski; two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Czaplinski officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Children’s Leukemia Research.
