Pickens Picks Up Prestigious Honors

The Northwest Ga. Tipoff Club held its annual banquet. Makayla Payne was named to the December Team of the Month, Paula Pickett was named to the January Team of the Month and Haley Kalson was named to the Team of the Year. The boys that were honored but were unable to attend were Travis Huffman and Shannon Brooks. Travis was on the December Team of the Month and Shannon was on the January Team of the Month as well as being named on the Team of the Year. All three girls were selected to play in the NWGA Tipoff Club All-Star game which will be April 18th at 6:00pm at Georgia Highlands College.

Dragonettes head coach, Donna Enis, had this to say,

“I am very proud of Makayla, Paula and Haley and all they have accomplished this year. I am looking forward to watching them participate in the All-Star game. This is a great honor for them as well as the Dragonettes program.”
