Mr. Daniel Hammontree, age 75 of Talking Rock, passed away at his residence on Tuesday April 7, 2015. He is survived by his wife: Glenda Hammontree, sons & daughters-in-law: Don & Rebecca Hammontree, David & Denise Hammontree, sister & brother-in-law: Faye & Charles Voyles, all of Talking Rock, sister-in-law: Betty Hammontree of Pickens, S. Carolina, grandchildren: Amy, Laura & Jacob and great-grandchildren: Avery & Caleb.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 8, 2015 from 4pm till 10pm and again on Thursday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Thursday at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Chaplain Rolland Nelson officiating. The interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
