Mrs. Gwenell Blackstock Padgett, age 80, of Jasper, GA died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home.Gwenell was born December 27, 1934 in Tate, GA to the late Clyde and Bessie Cagle Blackstock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmon Padgett and son, Douglas Padgett.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Padgett and fiancée Fredna Stancil, of Carrollton;
Chris and Bonnie Padgett of Jasper; grandchildren, Kyle Padgett, Abbie Padgett, Hayden Padgett, and Henry Padgett, several other family members also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, April 13, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Buck Parker and Rev. Alan Caylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and on Monday from 9:00am to 1:30pm.
