Charles Preston (Pa) Carver, son of Erwin and Clara Mae Carver, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.He is survived by his daughters, Joan Fowler and JoAnn Carver Harper, both of Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Veron & Gwen Carver, Fairmount, Deano & Peggy Carver and Troy & Wanda Carver, both of Talking Rock; sister, Eva Blackwell, Jasper; Grandchildren, Scott Fowler, Michael Harper and Richard Garrett, great-grandchildren, Emily Fowler and Kelsey McGill. He is preceeded in death by sisters, Edith Carver and Eula Parker; brothers, Don Carver & Truman Carver.
Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Cagle Funeral Home and again Wednesday at 8:00 am until the funeral hour. The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at 3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with Brother Kevin Thomas officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery.
