Daily Prayer: 04/26

Luke 9:62 “And Jesus said unto him, no man, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Our Father in Heaven, whose almighty hand does lead and direct us, we come before your throne of grace today seeking your presence.

Sometimes our words of dedication to you are too hasty, and we talk before we count the cost. Forbid that we should put our hands to the plow and turn back. There are so many who have turned aside unto their own way. We desire to know anew the strong claim that you have upon us. May we give you first place in our lives.

If this one who seeks you in prayer now needs encouragement and help along the troubled path today, grant your bountiful grace to this one in need through Jesus name.
