District attorney, Alison Sosebee, had a frank and honest discussions about the dangers and legal ramifications of creating, sending, distributing or keeping of inappropriate images on digital devices, as well as the often devastating effects of cyber bullying at Jasper Middle School. Sosebee spoke about her exasperation when seeing yet another inappropriate image of 13 year girl come across her desk. That exasperation led to Sosebee’s initiative to speak to students about the dangers that social media presents when it comes to images being shared instantaneously with the entire world via the web. As district attorney, Sosebee has first hand knowledge of the very real legal ramifications that come with creating, possessing and or sharing such shenanigans.
