Mrs. Nancy Lee Dean: Obituary

Nancy Lee Dean, age 62, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.Nancy was born November 12, 1952 to Ernest and Esteen Ledford in Ellijay, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Dean; daughters and sons-in-law, Paige and Steven Turner of Canton, April and Chad Little of Leesburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Linda Ledford of Emerson, David and Sue Ledford of Canton, Hoyt Ledford of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Virgil Payne of Acworth, Jean and Hoyle Fendley of Jasper, Carolyn and Herman Painter of Jasper, Debbie and Marvin Chadwick of Jasper, Angie Ledford of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Dawson Turner, Brayden Turner, Maddie Little, Ada Britt Little; and mother-in-law, Regina Dean. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.

The Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Jerusalem Baptist Church with Reverend Grant Wade, Reverend James Thompson, Reverend Gary Parker, and Reverend Randy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made toward the funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
