Ms. Thelma Raynes James, age 73 of Jasper, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Rome on Monday, July 6, 2015.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Ronnie J. and Anna Moss-Mexico, sisters and brother-in-law: Ann Peeler-Athens, Tn., Dorothy Raynes-Fl., Bonnie and Donald Haley-Canton, Ga., sons-in-law: Dwayne Watkins, Rex Garland, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Pam Watkins and Kathy Garland.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 7th from 11:30am until 7pm and on Wednesday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Wednesday at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Brown officiating. The interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Good Samaritian.
