Mr. Clinton Lockey, Jr. : Obituary

Clinton Lockey, Jr., age 62, of the Hill City Community passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at his home. He was born February 6, 1953 to Clinton Lockey, Sr. and Martha Miller in Scotland County, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen K. Lockey of the Hill City Community; sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Tabitha Lockey of the Hill City Community, Travis Neal and Brittany Lockey of the Hill City Community, Todd Noel and Brittany Lockey of the Hill City Community; daughters and sons-in-law, April Lockey Roberts of Canton, Abby Denise and Ernie McArthur of Canton, Amy Lockey of the Hill City Community, Ashley and Nicholas Dodd of the Hill City Community; ten grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Clinton and Martha Lockey; brothers, Wilbert Lockey and William Lockey.

The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Kelley and Reverend Kevin Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and until the funeral hour on Wednesday.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
