Dr. James Chalmes Holmes, age 87 of Big Canoe, passed away at Sunshine Manor Assisted living on Tuesday July 28, 2015.
He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law:Lee & Karen Holmes of Big Canoe, brother & sister-in-law: Charles & Marlyn Holmes of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and grandchildren: Jessica Sinclair & Josha Holmes.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday from 3pm until prior to the funeral hour.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4pm on Friday at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Meadors officiating. The interment will follow in Big Canoe Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to CARES.
