Symptoms of Decay

America is collapsing into a series of rhetorical cliches, false concepts and ignorant thinking. The Progressive Left has done this by its re-definitions of important words, its attempts to criminalize traditional religious (Christian) beliefs, and squashing anyone who does not agree with their view of how the rest of us should live. They attack any concept, not in agreement with their ideas, as racist, politically incorrect, sexist, homophobic or worse, as a hate crime.

Government bureaus and organizations, under Obama, have become the epitome of the many symptoms of decay paralyzing our country. It is a disease that has penetrated the DOJ, the IRS, DHS, EPA, and Departments of Energy and Education. Old time American thinking, customs and beliefs must be rooted out for citizens to accept the new government religion of collectivism, redistribution and slavery. This is Obama’s vision for America.

As an example, the left, unable to comprehend the power of spirituality, shoves all religions into the same tent while pushing its own pseudo-religion of materialism. The left would have us accept, because we should believe it, that it makes good sense to accept that more government programs are necessary to help humanity evolve to a higher level. To what purpose you ask?  To stop terrorist attacks. But attacks from what terrorists?

In 2009, with his Nobel Peace Prize in hand, Obama’s first official foreign policy act was to bow to the King of Saudi Arabia thus given credence to Islamic grievances against America while refusing to confront terrorism as an Islamic feature. The very words “Terrorism” and “Islamic” cannot be used in the same context.

Also in 2009, Major Nidal Hasan (a muslim) killed 13 American soldiers. He was accused of workplace violence, despite all evidence to the contrary. Since then we have seen the pace of Islamic attacks in America rise to alarming levels. That unhappy business in Paris, France with the Islamic assault and murder of employees of Charlie Hebdo, was clear to world leaders everywhere, that Islam was responsible, but not to our benighted, alleged president Obama.

Obama is, at the least, a Progressive-Liberal and liberals have to lie about how much they believe they are better than the country they serve. Islam is a dangerous concept totally out of step with democratic principles upon which all western democracies are made. Liberals deny that as a truth and when they deny a given truth, they must force people to explain why the truth is a given. They do not, indeed they cannot accept that Americans rights are inalienable (God given) and so, it is therefore we who must be re-educated. It’s the flat earth argument. What is apparent to all, that the earth isn’t flat, must be explained to them in detail and yet, they won’t listen and will turn downright violent if we confuse them with the facts.

Continued Islamic terrorism here in America, is a symptom of a sick mind that chooses to lead from behind. Violent extremism can not be justified by claiming it to be a religious duty. Legitimate religious do not teach its adherents to commit unspeakable atrocities. Religion can not justify violence and we do not recognize any religion as an excuse for violence simply because “it is written.” Obama apparently does.  For progressives, patriotism has always been bound up in the role of government and the cause of reform. But underlying it is the assumption that America, as it exists, is the problem that needs to be fundamentally transformed.

Remember, Freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (10 August 2015)
