Mrs. Zella Pearl “Zip” Palmer died peacefully at Heritage Hospice on September 7, 2015 in Marietta, GA at the age of 97.
Zella is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jeanette Lee Pickett of Jasper, Shirley Edna Dix and husband Charles Dix of Marietta; grandchildren, Lorraine “Lori” Pickett of Jasper, James Picket, Jasper and Kimberly Salerno of Waterloo, NY; great-grandchildren, James P.B. Pickett and Zoe L.J. Pickett of Jasper. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold and 10 brothers and sisters.
A memorial service for both Zella and her husband Harold will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm.
